The pages look weird.? All web browsers interpret the HTML behind them slightly differently. miniSPHERE was optimized for Windows Mobile Internet Explorer. While it was tested on other browsers like Palm and Opera and iPhone's Safari, minimal changes were made to directly support these browsers. Currently the Mobicosm and its services are targeted at the Windows Mobile platform. As the Mobicosm grows, and resources increase, most notable time, money, and human resources, more platforms will be supported. Top
Where are all the other sites? By clicking the name of a category, you will be taken to a full listing of each site in that category. If you have joined miniSPHERE, clicking a checkbox will allow you to select which sites in that category you would like on your homepage. Top
Why do I see the same site under multiple categories? miniSPHERE is meant to be a system of sites, not merely a list of them. Therefore, we have placed each site in every category that may relate to the site. This way, you'll find it where you'd expect to find it. Top
What does joining get me? First and foremost, it will allow you to customize the homepage. This means you can add or remove sites from each category, or you can minimize a category that you don't use as often. But in the long run, you'll benefit by joining because you'll automatically gain access to future Mobicosm offerings, particularly sites and services that seamlessly snap-in to miniSPHERE. Top
How do I join? Click the Join/Sign In link underneath the logo or click the "Join miniSPHERE...." link at the bottom of every page. Then fill out a few fields and you're in. Top
How do I change my email address? Sign in. Browse to "My Profile". Click the word Edit in the header. Simple. Top
How do I change my password? Sign in. Browse to "My Profile". Click the "Change Password" link. Top
I forgot my password. Click the Join/Sign In link in the black bar beneath the logo. Then click the "Forgot Password?" link. Enter your Username. Answer your security question correctly. Then we'll email a temporary password to you. Once you sign in with the temporary password, you can change it to something more easily memorable. Top
What does the Search do? It is a very simple search feature that searches the sites listed on miniSPHERE by keywords. It is not going to find out who won the 1988 World Series, but if you type "baseball" in the search box, it may give you the link to a site that can find that out for you. Top
I know a great mobile website. How do I get it listed in miniSPHERE? At the bottom of every page is a link called "Suggest a Site". Use this link to tell us about a great mobile website out there and we'll check it out. If it meets our highly subjective criteria (if it's cool), we'll add it. If it's cool beyond any words that can be constructed into a sentence descriptive enough to do it justice, we'll add it to the default homepage, and perhaps even spotlight it on everybody's homepage.
